There is a lady who posts quite often on the old time drum corps post in the historical DCI forum. This was my 1st year and not having any favorites going in, fell in love with this corps. There are many others here who could do a much better job filling in a bit of history. I do know this a merger of a few other corps. There DM, Joelle (sp?) was quite infamous in the day. -

You are way off, he's from a land that makes Pittsburgh look like one of the 5 boroughs of NYC. Too bad he didn't see what happened in Indy a few weeks back. Maybe his GHOST saw. Gotta go, they are serving kool-aid at the town hall. Man, 4 hints! -

Great site, thanks Marty. Check out the custom trumpet valve guards, the old glory is cool. Have you ever played on the satin finish? I love gold for the softness, how would satin compare, thanks again.

Tried one for a few days , it's now with the Jet Tones as door stoppers.

I would have been on the phone with the moving company about heading back north. Don't get me wrong, we have snakes where I live, black bears too. They just don't come in the house. -

There were quite a few great stories recently on the DCA historical board under the Guess Who thread about Pepe. It would worth your wild to look it up if you like these kind of stories. Gotta love his PBS interview when he predicts his own death, "when the first shovel of dirt........." God Bless Pepe. -

99 percent sure you are correct, and a side note, these are the same shakos that Steel City wore later. Not sure of the details, but there was some Tom Foolery in SC obtaining them. -
Well, there goes the Bulls.

Due to an unexpected turn for the worse at work, I will not be in Rochester. I had been planning to go for at least a day with my father-in-law. This economy better do something positive real soon or else....................... Don't worry, as a truck driver, jobs are easy to come by, it's finding one you truly like that's the hard part. I will name the top row, 3rd from left, it's none other than "FAST" Eddie Rosemeyer. -

Haven't seen one from a bad side yet, does it exist? -
Totally understand where you are coming from. The $$$ isn't for the material or labor, it's for the knowledge behind the product. The $$$ is why I still play on the $50 13A4A!

A bit OT, but in my senior year of high school, I was with the marching band at a Pittsburgh Steelers/Cincinnati Bengals game. We performed the halftime. As the second half started, we were seated in the corner of the endzone. Pittsburgh kicks off going away from us. A few of us stand on our chairs for a better look. Before long, Isaac Curtis is flying down the sideline untouched and right into the corner of the endzone where we are. Next thing I know, me and a few others are on the ground in a heap. Live on national TV.
