Thanks for the kind word about Defenders performance. We were happy with it and THRILLED by the audience response. Considering we only put the mini corps together in August. We're already talking about selections for next year and really looking forward to having several months of preparation. What a great show in every aspect! We can't wait for the next.

Don't be surprised if you see Defenders making the trip. After our MCA experience and receiving a very positive reception, I wouldn't be surprised if we seek more opportunities to play competitively. I think we may have caught the bug!

What a great time. I think I can speak for everyone from Defenders in saying we had a great time. For me personally it was great to feel that rush that you can only get from playing for an audience and getting the reaction you are aiming for. I was blown away by the talent on display at the show. Congrats to Mass Brass, the first ever MCA Champions, and to everyone else who competed and contributed to a little bit of drum corps histiry this past weekend. We'll be back!
