  1. No inside knowledge - just know that Div 3 corps can fluctuate from year to year. I always thought the Raiders were a cute corps that worked hard. Here is hoping they continue to field a corps every year!
  2. 1. Hurricanes - umm Michael Klesch? Huge addition to best visual and improving perc 2. Minn Brass - class of the Midwest, good programming choices 3. Buccaneers - years of substandard guard program will catch up to tem 4. Cabs - is Jeff Nagmian juding championships? 5. Bushwackers - need to be more competitive in JuneJuly and not just fill holes all Summer. Best closers in the game though. 6. Empire - yet another mismash of a show will yield mixed results 7. Corps Vets - on their way up. New horns and good show choice. 8. Brigadiers - staff gets weaker each year. No more Downey, Lee, Glyde no more championships 9. Renegades - the have steadfastly refused to improve their weaknesses. Kudos to them for blind loyalty 10. Alliance - maybe the 3rd best drumline of all (behind Mn & Reading)
  3. Are the Bayonne Raiders going to be there? If they field a corps in 09 I would assume it would be easy for them to attend and bring their fans.
  4. See, now there is some real info. Thanks Ms COndran.
  5. 100 acres????? Wow. Sprit should build a bunch of rehearsa facilities for all the NJ corps to rent from them. Cabs, Bush, Surf, Fusion and Raiders (Are they still fielding a corp?) all could have practice in the same place ! I do think saying there is a "posibilty" of college credits can be misleading and thus a tad irresponsible.
  6. No, I am pretty sure that's not how it works. Once a corps has been added to the schedule DCI puts it on the website. They wouldn't wait for a corps to fill up their free days with trips to the mall n stuff to release the schedule. Did Mempho's management submit their paperwork in time? I know some corps have had to wait to get access because of that or bcause their were being evaluated or re-evaluated by DCIs
  7. Cadets use of battery percussion in the ballad was groundbreaking, making a beautiful moment even more powerful. No disregard to Bluecoats, but they didn't make 1/2 the impact.
  8. 1984 Cadets - Maria 1989 Phantom - Largo from New World Symphony. Gorgeous bari solo 2000 Boston - Time to Say Goodbye 1993 Cadets - Hymsong
  9. No - it is all about performance level and show design. Pioneer would not have stood up against the top of Div 2/3 the last few years. Don't blame size and stop airing dirty laundry about how this year the staff is communicating and the show is written!
  10. 1. Cadets 2. Crown 3. Phantom 4. BD 5. Cavaliers 6. SCV 7. Crusaders 8. Bluecoats 9. Scouts 10. Blue Stars 11. Blue Knights 12. Crossmen 13. Glassmen 14. Spirit 15. Academy 16. Colts 17. Troopers 18. Pacific Crest 19. Surfers 20. Cascades 21. Pioneer
