Did you take my mp3 player and find this on my 'colorguard' list?? LOVE Paradise circus - has been on my playlist since it came out! Problem is, how many guards will use it now? Can you imagine hearing this guard after guard after guard.....

My issue are the Seat Squatters - when we arrived, an ENTIRE GUARD was sitting in the seats we had purchased. They refused to move until a UD Minion told them to do so. Another seat squatter was sitting in my daughters more expensive seat by the VIP section and also refused to move. WHAT IS THAT??? I get the "Lets try to find a better seat that is not being used" philosophy, but when someone shows you their ticket and you STILL refuse to move - that is just plain rude and setting a scene for hostility. On another note, WGI will make a killing next year, as my sister and I have already planned to purchase the seats on either side of us so that we are not crammed in between people who need two seats anyway due to their 'girth'. NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE with that comment, but it makes 6 hours in a seat VERY uncomfortable when your arms are only wrapped in front of you. In reference to guards making comments about every drop, agreed - very annoying - and a very patient spectator near us got it to stop when the guard behind us was saying that. They very calmly turned around and said "And you are not in finals because........" We only heard positive comments after that! Other than that, I still love WGI - it is better than Christmas.

Agreed. There were just too many moments for me to even begin posting without writing forever! Cannot WAIT for my DVD to re-live them all again and again and again.....

I loved Black Watch - I just could NOT look away! Even though I mentioned it to all the performers there I had to mention it again here.

She is definitely proud - she worked for this since 3rd grade, wanting to be "part of the World Guard". All of those girls amaze me - they push through sprained ankles, broken elbows, everything without you even knowing it! I love their show this year - brings me to tears everytime. I also love Centerville but have been a bit disappointed in their scores as well. They always put on a good show. James Logan is just phenomenal this year and they really deserve first. Carmel is excellent too, Warren Central..... Just too many that I enjoy!

Miamisburg HS is undergoing tremendous amounts of construction right now - hopefully will be back to previews in a couple years!

I must admit - James Logans show is FANTASTIC. Very clean, energetic, technical - I just love it all around, and think they will place first. I have to be a bit biased tho and hope that Miamisburg does well - but I dont think they will be top 4 at all (let me apologize to my daughter now!!!! ) and I only say that because I just haven't understood the scoring this year; groups I thought did exceptionally well scored very low whereas groups that about put me to sleep had scores through the roof. I do hope however they are at least in the top 10. Theres just so many good groups in SW this year - really it's a bloodbath! I can't remember when I have enjoyed watching so many shows all in one class. Can't wait for Thursday and Friday, but especially Saturday!!

I can understand why you were frustrated - but I hope you re-consider this being your last review! I, along with many other parents, enjoy reading your thoughts; you always give every group compliments and accolades for the jobs they do so well for us. They work so hard every season, and your praise of their talents is the fresh comment they need after sometimes harsh critiques from the judges. This 'Burg' mom loves reading all of your reviews - PLEASE keep them coming!!
