  1. nope....not wishing any corps to fold, no particular corps mentioned.
  2. then he would know better than to wish any corps to fold. I think it's pretty obvious he is a drum corps wannabe or he marches with an open class weekend only corps that can't even make open class finals.
  3. I looked at this guys info and he never marched corps. If he had, he would never have wished anybody to fold.....let alone Carolina Crown. I take it in the spirit with which he gave it...which would be that he doesn't know any better, because he has only been on the sidelines and never out competing or instructing on the drum corps field.
  4. AMEN....and I marched Spirit back in the early 80's. I love Crown's show this year!
  5. Yes that's we need....people wishing corps to fold...Get over it.....Crown's show is just good, whether any of you bashers think so or not.....It is the most original of any of the top 12....We could go climb a mountain, but I saw Columbia Central High School from Columbia, Tn do that show last year at Contest of Champions at MTSU
  6. These people are whining about Crown, because these are the same people that were saying they wouldn't beat Cadets this year...so much for their ill-conceived perceptions of drum corps scoring this season....GO CROWN!
  7. I remember back when I was teaching Canos in 1994 and we won div. III with 33 kids and made open class quarterfinals. Also either in 1994 or 1996 the Marion Cadets were placing at every competition they went to like DCM championships and I believe they had 5 horns.
  8. Music City Legend.......Baltimore Area Parades
  9. Makes you miss Drum Corps Midwest......everybody scored on the same sheets
  10. They already missed the dates for announcing intentions. I wasn't counting mini-corps as coming out with a corps for the season. Plus that is what all their former members who are marching with us (Music City Legend) have told us. They are not doing a field show according to them. What shows are they doing if they are coming out this year Ed? I don't see them listed for anything on the show schedule. Their website talks about coming out for mini corps, no talk about a competitive field show. They aren't even listed on the DCA website as a competitive corps.
  11. Several have come down to Nashville and are marching with Music City Legend. DCK will not be out this year.
  12. Same to you on the almost undefeated season..(we aren't expecting too much this year with our new coach and all anyways, so I am certain you will have a better football season than me this year).....I do have a mess of family that attended Alabama as well....always fun family fights between the Tennessee and Alabama contingents
  13. One of my old Canos kids who also marches with Chops tells me that quite a few of the Chops people are also marching Govies this year, because Chops is taking the year off.
  14. 1. Brass 2. Hurcs 3. Buccs 4. Empire 5. Cabs 6. Renegades 7. Bush 8. MCL 9. CorpsVets 10. Brigs 11. Crusaders 12. Alliance 13. Kilties
  15. Thanks to all who helped out. We can now say that Music City Legend's colorguard is FULL. We did it!!! Lookout everybody we aren't going to get beat up in visual for not having a big enough guard!!!!
  16. Ahhh.....Mi Tierra going down the streets of Grand Haven.....I remember the entire corps leaving the street and going up to peoples houses and blowing their faces off!!! Good Times!
  17. Somebody with the Govies needs to talk to the powers that be at MCL and get us up there for the show and party!!!!
  18. I want to go to St. Peter and party at Patrick's! Go Govies!!!
