  1. I have always loved that phrase, Dennis. I guess you do, too!! Best of luck, Cabs!!
  2. The percussion section's focus is palpable!! It's great seeing and feeling the intensity. While the guard and brass are preparing to defend their titles, the percussion is already rehearsing like champions. It will be a VERY, VERY interesting summer!!
  3. The corps will be "around the town" this Sunday!! Come see the Bushwackers in NYC.
  4. Your trouble isn't what you "can't" say - it's more a problem of what you "shouldn't" say. There's the difference between having freedom and having class.
  5. OK, the "mild" excitement I had is starting to build. I understand the drill is pretty cool - Steve Rinda with Jamey Thompson are proving to be a GREAT combination!!
  6. You're right, Lee!! For you and all of our other fans, we will be posting more details about the 2007 Bush field show. We won't keep you in suspense any longer. Check back shortly. Lee, thanks again!!
  7. Now that makes TWO of us!! Best of luck to all DCA corps this coming summer.
  8. I do apologize, Lee. I realize you're a BIG fan! The Bushwackers have been very remiss in posting sound all winter long. Not sure why, but I will take this opportunity to blame Joe Exley. He's been out, saving the world, one tuba at a time. Sorry for the commercial interruption - back to the regularly scheduled "everything's wrong - nothing's wrong" repartee!!
  9. We did?! I really have to start reading my emails!! Chris is right, though...still "Lonely Town" and it will still be VERY cool.
  10. Thanks, Al. Feel free to come on down with a can of paint!!
  11. I think he's engaged, but if you'd like to take him out to a candlelight dinner, I think I can arrange it. For a nominal "procurement" fee to the operational fund of the drum corps of my choosing.
  12. You'll need the buck per person for the Honeymoon Fund? Yes, ladies...Mr. Kilian is now officially OFF the market. Congrats to Chris and Dena on your engagement!!
  13. If the legend is indeed true, you really wouldn't believe where the name "Bushwacker" comes from!!
  14. I didn't chime in on this, but I will now. Joe and his team (my first official "yo" to John Adcock!) were SERIOUSLY pushing the line ON THE FIRST DAY!! Teaching, correcting, motivating, pushing...and the line just kept going. Bush Brass may not be for everyone, but if you decide it is, you will become a much improved player. Joe, Scott, Chris and John...keep it up, guys. Simply incredible watching you teach, seeing the line respond so well, and everyone having fun GETTING GOOD! Now that's drum corps.
