  3. Tom, everything you listed is a great reason to go on the cruise, but the best reason is it is a fund-raiser for the Reading Buccaneers. You can go on a 7 night cruise vacation to the Eastern Caribbean with corps members, friends and family and at the same time raise funds for the Buccaneers. It's actually a win-win opportunity.
  4. The 19th Annual Friends & Fans of Drum Corps Cruise is scheduled for January 17 - 24, 2010. The cruise will be a 7 night Southern Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Victory sailing out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. The cruise will stop at St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Kitts and return to San Juan. This cruise is open to anyone who has an interest in the drum corps activity, or anyone who just loves to cruise. During some of our previous cruises we have had family reunions, corps meetings, and we even had a wedding during a cruise. In 2009, we had representatives from the Hawthorne Caballeros, NY Skyliners, CT Hurricanes, Holy Name/Garfield Cadets, Boston Crusaders, Park City Pride, Reilly Raiders, Syracuse Brigs, Reading Bucs, Archer-Epler, Florida Brass, Air Force D & B and the US Marine D & B. We also had representatives from Drum Corps Associates and the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame. Prices start at $700.37/pp for a window room and $860.37/pp for a balcony room. The price includes all meals and entertainment on the ship and all the port charges and taxes. Prices are based on double occupancy. Prices for triple/quad rooms are available on request. Airfare would be additional. We will be setting up a pre and post package in San Juan for anyone who wants to extend the cruise vacation. Get away from the cold winter and join some of the legends of drum corps on a 7 night cruise to the sunny Southern Caribbean. Don't be left on the dock, call Bob Cardaneo at 1-800-519-0050 or email him at CR1RLC@comcast.net. All cruise travel for the cruise is handled by CruiseOne pf Long Neck, DE.

  7. Chris I believe the way the new rule will be stated is, "straight, multi key, multi valve brass instrument". This means a sousaphone, which is not straight, would be illegal.
