  1. I heard that gas prices were too much, so they are making the kids ride horses across the country like a true Wyomingite (is that what they're called?). If enough kids get to be good enough, they're going to add it finals night.
  2. but my money is on the Troopers. I just think they will put it together best in August. Maybe not in Minneapolis or San Antonio, but by Indy for sure.
  3. It is absolutely not sorted. I think it's pretty safe to say that 11 of the corps are marching finals night, but the twelfth spot is wide open, and each one of those corps knows that. Because they know that, they are all pushing for it. This kind of competitive energy is great for this activity. I actually love BK's and BAC's show, but I am still hoping that the competitiveness will make the current 12-17 place corps get even closer to those! I do believe that the 12th spot will not be the same in all the regionals.
  4. I think Spirit will take it tonight, and the spread tonight will be bigger than the spread at Minneapolis.
  5. I'm actually more excited to see the Troopers and Spirit battle it out tonight! I do think these will be the two that will be battling hardest for that last finals spot!!!
  6. thanks. Do you think they'll do more shows next year?
  7. (this is my first post...I'm kinda excited!) anyways, this is my first summer home in a while, so I guess I've never noticed this before, but why does Academy take off so much time in July? Do they give the kids a lot of free days? I know the corps I marched with would take off 2-3 days of shows about this week to add a few changes and whatnot, but does Academy usually make that many changes? Or is it to just save gas money? Just wondering if anyone knew the reasoning.
