  1. As a prospective member of the corps (I have a good feeling about it), I can say that they told the people that auditioned at camps what they were playing, and told us not to say anything until at least December 6th. Now, the staff didn't announce anything about it then, and still haven't. So technically no one broke a verbal promise... but it still makes you a jerk when you explain the magic trick before performing it. Some of what the post said may or may not be true, but I'm excited for the music that I (hopefully) get to play, and I'm looking forward to it being awesome. I'm glad you all are looking forward to the upcoming season, and hopefully you can still play your guessing game for a little bit.
  2. The original post was for just top twelve corps, but it would be cool to have a moment for everyone. Boston playing from the end zone. Blue Knights flourishing tenors or Holst's First suite Madison - All of the closer... but if you can't get that, the fall of the two towers. Upside down tenors, Phantom's guard and Elsa's, Creep. And I thought the "zipper" drill the Cadets did that brought the Angels and Demons together towards the end was cool, but that may have been just me.
  3. UNT has a ton of kids because Paul Rennick is on faculty there. A lot of the percussion students either auditioned for or made Vanguard, and there were a couple in Blue Knights, Phantom, Crown, and I know there are at least a few brass players that marched Crown and BD.
  4. This just announced: Glen Crosby will be heading to the Blue Knights in 2012 to work with Ralph. Good news, right?
