When I first heard it announced, I thought it was going to be terrible. I quickly changed my tune after seeing it and how they've pulled it off. They really have a lot of nice things going on with both the opener and closer, but there are some clunky transitions. That said, I do love the crossfade from Jingle Bells into DYHWIH (too lazy to type it out). From a competitive standpoint, there's just something missing (depth?), and I could see Cadets falling to beneath PR and SCV come finals night. Regardless, it's an enjoyable show, and one I will enjoy listening to and watching for years to come.

Since I am not lucky enough to be in Indy for finals weekend, I will have to watch finals on Monday via FN. I'd like to do this without knowing scores, places, etc., especially for the top 5 or so corps. Is there a way to watch finals as if it were DVR'd so that I can watch without knowing the scores/places beforehand? Thanks for your thoughts.

Never said that. Having the older vids is nice, but again, the value is in the ability to see the performances as they happen (or soon thereafter). DCI acknowledges this in their marketing.

This is the first year I purchased FN and I am happy I did. However, the value of the service is only as good as its fresh content. I really don't care what happened in Atlanta now that the corps marched in Allentown. And I won't care about what happened in Allentown after Indy. Not trying to knock those that are behind this service (working hard, I'm sure), but in the age of wifi and iPhones, a day late might as well be a month late.

Does anyone know who the person sampled in the BD show is talking about dada? I feel like this is coming from some fort of documentary/interview about the art form, and I'd like to see it. Thanks!

Hey, all... I'm new to the Fan Network and really love it so far. When will Fan Network have videos of each of the corps' shows from Saturday rather than one big long stream? In case you're wondering, I'm asking for two reasons: (1) iPad viewing (will not load the full show due to file type); and (2) searching through the shows is a pain! Thanks.

Someone will need to explain to me what the hell I watched during the BD show. I didn't think they could get any more insane after last year's show. Their music and drill is not nearly as challenging as some other corps'. Also, they deserve a penalty for not mounting the horses.
