  1. Freedom and pope. If anyone beats the Freedom I saw this weekend at Orlando regionals I'd be surprised. The fan network shows how good it is, but none of the emotion. It will knock you out. hope they can do that again. Nease is pretty intense.
  2. the drive to orlando was well worth it. Great facility. Flanagan, Braddock and Orlando Visual easily moved into this size place and were overwhelming. Flanagan probably the best 2 performances of the weekend. Orlando Visual looked like a different show completely, most improved and even clean at time. Gonna be more up there than people think. I thought about the Alliance thing, but no offense to that great guard, they could never quite spin as well or as tight as Orlando Visual looks, who is not loose or untrained in any way. They could loosen up a bit, and the end of the show just crashes. Braddock was on fire all the way, but I agree about the flags. I kept waitng for it to make something, but it's confusing to watch. Rifle book again will be one of the best ever seen, and they dance amazing. Paramount is so innovating and taking a chance on this new TV thing but it's hard to see in a big place. Other classes, Freedom was really the best by far, and I don't normally like that type of show, Nease great. Cooper great don't quite get Lyman yet, but teeter totter is cool. USF is so emotional and for all the people on here who don't like tricks, these guys do it so classy, I'm so glad these guys take a chance on that stuff. crowd loves it.
  3. the way orlando visual uses the props made me think that they aren't mirrors but picture frames that they use for the guy girl thing. it made perfect sense to me. i liked that it made me think of last year as well. seemed like it was a smart move since they did so well in open. i'm glad to see some exchanges and tricks in world class again from guards like fantasia, first flight and emanon. it's really exciting and a missing part of color guard for some groups.
  4. Pope and Freedom. can't wait to see freedom live this weekend.
  5. I think sch open was right on pope was great. agree about first flight point jump, they were close to orlando visual on saturday and i thought orlando beat them at finals so braddock was clearly so far above them both. didn't agree with braddock not getting more score. also don't agree about orlando props they are cool, yes very cluttered at times but probably a show best seen in a bigger gym. don't really like girls uniform and first flight had the best uniforms and flags.
  6. Bought fan network after GA regional so I could see Braddock and Orlando Visual again, my two favorites by far. They both are great in person and you can't appreciate or understand it on the small screen. They are both so entertaining I'm driving to Orlando just to see them again live since I can't go to Ohio. Braddock rifle line is one of the best I have ever seen and so fast you can hardly breathe. Dance at end is cool with their floor. Fan Network is hard to tell, but I like Onyx and Braddock to fight it out in the end. Orlando Visual is a breath of fresh air with all the sad serious shows. Big crowd thing. The props seemed overwhelming in the small gym but the stuff they do with them is innovative and I've never seen anything like it before. wish they put more kids on them, it's cool. I sat on the left at prelims and on the right at finals and it's pretty different, guy show girl show I think. Entertaining and fun beyond what I've seen in a long time. Pope and usf was my next favorites.
