All I know, is that as a single mom of 6 (my Forte member is the oldest), I trusted Forte to deliver the schedule that they planned. We all sacrificed to give her her dream. We live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, so *my* 16 year old *is* stranded in Texas. Non-refundable plane tickets useless. Her aunt and uncle had already bought tickets to see her in the Paw Paw, Michigan show. Instead, of performing on Sunday, she will be arriving in Chattanooga, brokenhearted, via Greyhound. I read all your posts. Maybe as a newbie mom I just don't understand. But THIS is the human side of Forte folding.

As a mom brand new to Drum Corps this year and mom to a 16 year old now stranded in Texas (return plane ticket for Aug. 15 no good now), I am shocked and disappointed in Forte and DCI. As a single mom of 6, I sacrificed to send my daughter because it was her dream to march DCI. A refund would help me but still would not heal her broken heart...
