My only guess for Racine's penalty would be, since they were first on at the show a late arrival? and or timing issues. Not a %100 sure, just a guess based on the time slot they were stepping off at. -

I know....but I can't get my Marching SF2 soundfonts loaded properly into Finale. I have them loaded and used the walkthrough or whatever you wanna call it that someone posted on this site. I have the snare working fine, but the problem comes when loading the tenors, and basses. Is it possible for someone that has this figured out to post a template of this setup for the rest of us. Will this work (Just saving a new document without a title, composer name and or copyright date) Just curious if this will work,or would it be dependant on the soundcard setup. Curious to know!

You can also check with Columbus Percussion. www.zdadagok.com

Can you import finale files into Sibelius and save them as Sibelius files? How accurate are the conversions? Just Curious!

OK I FINALLY figured out how to get the wave sounds from Virtual Drumline loaded into my soundcard and how to access them in Finale 2003. Now though when I enter a pattern the snare playback isn't playing the right rhythms ex - 4 quarter notes playback as 4 sets of 16ths But if I use the General Midi setup it plays back fine, just with the crappy woodblock for a snare drum sound. Also the unison Bass parts sound like ####, Split parts are awesome.....Anyone got any suggestions I would like to burn the cadences and exercises onto CD for my line for this season.
-
Thanks....The Cadence does start off with some vocals from the line. The file says it was a DCI line...thanks

Anyone know what DCI? line did a cadence called "Million Dollar Drumline" I have a recording of it, and all it says is 1982. I'd like to find out who played it.

Question about Finale 2003
BlueDrumGuy replied to teadrumpercinstructor's topic in Percussion Planet
I've been wondering the same thing myself...I have a link that may be of some help! I haven't had time to sit down and figure it out yet, so if you figure it out let me now how difficult it is...thanks http://www.anwd.net/soundfont/ -
Anyone that went to this show willing to post a review? I'm also wondering if anyone knows why the Blue Saints weren't in prelims, they were on the list of competiting units and I can't find a score for them....did they make it to the show?

I have a set of Dynasty's (approx 10yrs old) in storage for the last 2 yrs. They are a black and grey marble pattern 6 snares 3 tenors 5 basses Plus harnesses for all The drums are in ok shape the shells are fine, the hardware just needs some TLC and a bit of paint for the lug cases (and some new heads of course) We are asking $3000. I'll try to get some pics taken. If anyone is interested e-mail me at vinfrap@hotmail.com and please include Dynasty Drums in the headline Thanks
