  6. we have a bunch of 2 valve King mellos sitting around.... I'm just not sure we want to take any a part to sell parts.. If you want to buy a whole horn let me know.
  7. just to get a "Jerome has taken another thread right off its rails" thread back on topic!!! ^0^ We still need 3 baris... interested?
  8. wait how are we supposed to compete without going Bb? Its gonna be hard to keep up with those G horns.. and when does the 35 year age limit kick in? I need to get my birth certificate doctored up.
  9. Soo.. I was sitting on my brain thinking back on '06 and all it had to offer... and one of my memories told me to go find this thread and relive a great experience... so I did.. so often we get caught up in our own 10 fingers and 10 toes... but on that morning I had the chance to experience MCL for the very first time with very little knowledge of your corps.. It was one of my three highlights of my personal drum corps season last year.... next year the Bridgemen owe you guys a private performance as well... I know we'll see you warming up for finals, so we'll get a nice repeat of last year!!! signed... a fan!
  10. what??? you don't think we should wear new gloves?
  11. oh and remember... drill rehearsal all day Sunday so come prepared... and bring new gloves.. the Bb horns should be here by Saturday.
  12. ha! somehow I just don't see that happening..
  13. I have a question... why are you selling a Kanstul sop when you were just telling me you needed another horn :P
  14. Of Course!! He's living in Alaska and works as a carpenter. I speak to him on occasion.. He was down in NY to see his family for Christmas 3 years ago... Thats the last time we hung out together... If you want his email send me a PM and I'll look it up when I get home.
  15. The Bridgemen will be rehearsing Jan 13 from 12-4 at St Andrews then we have our annual bowl-a-thon Saturday night. Sunday rehearsal will be from 12-6. If you are interested in marching with ther Bridgemen next summer go to Bridgemen.com and register... someone will contact you with more info..
  16. all right ... all right already Snappettes Mom ......Mea Culpa...Mea Culpa!!!!!!!!!
  17. not to mention Crossmen and 27. But the Troopers?? come on Gary Donofrio was no big loss! :P Just kidding.. after Gary marched Troopers in 81... he drove me to Bridgemen practice for two years... along with Ken E, Carol E, Ken K, Gary K......A bunch of LIK/Bridgemen aged out after 81. I remember being on tour in 81 with LIK and there was sooo many people from these other corps always coming over to see how we all were doing... like the big brothers and sisters we should have had...
  18. yeah I'm OK with it... and I'm not uptight I'm just wound way too tight OK maybe I guess I am new here...... HIS POSTS??? why do I feel a really cruel joke coming on here..... let me guess... snappettes mom is not actually some young person's mom but like someone's alter ego from out west running amok all over DCP??? I'm not cut out for this stuff.. you know what? I need a beer.....
  19. back on topic... Holly.. I've known you since we were both little kids... Go get em. If this is what you and Ralph want to do, than do it to the extreme.
  20. oh and just to show you I actually read your post.... do you really think it was right for you to go into a thread, who's subject was about thanking the community for its support for a new corps and bringing up who you endorse??? thats what we like to call trolling..
  21. if you thought my post had anything to do with a spelling mistake then you really should go back and read it again... when people go out of their way to try and be (for lack of a better term) "cute" with someone else... and screws it up? it leaves everyone else pointing the finger at YOU and laughing!!
  22. nah.. no apologies needed. Its just one of those subjects that we have dealt with as an org for a long time... Just to clarify... The Bridgemen left Denver with a 4th place finish... it was, in I believe November of 1977, that DCI formally disqualified the Bridgemen. That is where it stands to this day.
