  2. This site actually has some cool DCI week info...check it out. http://www.marchingarts.com/regionals/boston_housing.htm
  3. Would you be interested in a complete K-90? The Troopers still have 1 or 2 left in storage - email info@troopersdrumcorps.org for more info. Please remember that the corps is on tour so it may be a bit before you get an answer.
  4. I *might* actually have that on VHS. I'll have to double check. I haven't thought about that contest in ages.....a great show and yes, SCV was on fire that night. Going on right after them was rough for us. Strange order of appearance..... Colts Boston Dutch Boy VK SCV Troopers Star of Indiana Hmmm.....wonder why we went on AFTER SCV? Perhaps a buffer between them and Star? I just remember standing on the track waiting to go on watching SCV rip the house apart - I had an awful sick feeling in my stomach.
  5. heh, Lynette, I'm an alum...I'm supposed to cry! ^_^ Seriously, the low brass ending was sooooo tasty....loved it.
  6. Wow - just wow. What an amazing, and unexpected compliment. :) p.s. I marched that show and loved every note. I'd add 1995 Troop. The ending of that program brought tears to my eyes.
  7. Well, I can tell you that we don't have any 3v mellos left. Those were gone before we listed them. Bari's and sops I'm pretty sure we have. Contact the hall and speak with Scott Puryear (307-472-2141 or s.puryear@troopersdrumcorps.org)about what we have that we're going to sell (it'll save me the trouble of putting a list on the site!)
  8. I'm going to say 4 or 5 of the K90's are left - you should contact the corps hall and speak with Scott Puryear (307-472-2141) or email s.puryear@troopersdrumcorps.org
  9. We don't have DEGS - but perhaps a King k-90 will do? http://www.troopersdrumcorps.org/corps/special2.htm
  10. Unfortunately we just lost one of our Tenors at the Troopers and now have an open spot. Anyone interested in this spot please send me an email at percussion@troopersdrumcorps.org We are marching 8 snares, 4 tenors (currently we have 3), 5 bass, & 5 cymbals in the battery. Things are going very well for The Troopers percussion section this season, it looks to be our strongest line in many years. Music and Exercises are available for download to anyone who is seriously considering an audition. Just email me. Thanks! 11. We've had some spots open up for various reasons. We are now seeking to fill the following final spots: Soprano: 1 Mellophone: 2 Baritone: 2 We do not carry alternates so we must fill these spots. Don't let this chace pass you by. Do you have a desire to march D1 this summer? Are you looking for a corps to call home? Contact us right away and we'll see you in May! http://www.troopersdrumcorps.org recruiting@troopersdrumcorps.org
  12. Ed: I'm pretty sure I sent you a private message through this board and told you to contact the corps offices with your payment for the horn you were interested in. The last time I spoke with Scott Puryear, he told me you had paid for the horn and it was shipped out - or am I mistaking you for somebody else? The office number is 307-472-2141. The corps directors do not check these boards (ever) so you're best bet is to call us if you are serious about buying a horn or two. (BTW, I'm not a marching member)
  13. There's still time..... recruiting@troopersdrumcorps.org
  14. Still some good horns left....act now before they're gone!

  16. The Troopers are looking to augment the color guard for the 2004 season. Winter rehearsals have been very strong but more members are needed to fill the guard in the 2004 corps. The Troopers color guard is co-ed. WGI winter guard performers under the age of 21 are encouraged to audition. Basic equipment handling skills are required. The corps will be holding its next camp April 23-25th in Casper, WY. Transportation assistance is available from Denver, Salt Lake City and points inbetween. 17. The 2004 Troopers are looking to fill these open spots in the brass line. The 2004 brass book written by Chuck Naffier is both exciting and challenging. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary. Sopranos - 1-2 (possible lead positions) Mellophone - 2-3 Baritone - 2 If you are interested in filling one of these spots, please contact the Troopers recruiting coordinator, Andres Gonzales (307-472-2141 or email recruiting@troopersdrumcorps.org) or the brass caption head, Jason Buckingham (brass@troopersdrumcorps.org) for more information. Our next camp is in Casper, WY April 23rd through April 25th. Transportation assistance is available from Denver, Salt Lake City and points inbetween. It's not too late to march division I this summer!
  18. Of course, that begs the question - why buy a trumpet for $1300 when you can buy a G soprano for half that price? Hmmm..... Back to hiding I go.
  19. No, these are original to the corps. If memory serves, we switched over to King brass at the end of the 1982 season. I'm not 100% sure that these particular horns are orginal purchases, but ... Note to interested buyers: The Troopers are in camp mode and therefore - unbelievably busy in the office. We will answer your inquiries, but please, be patient with us.
