    As I've said in other posts, I'm a little biased with having a son in the Colts but I agree that they have the most room to grow yet. That is not a knock against any other corps but if (and only if) they maximize their potential in the next week, they could make a run at the top 12.

    Agreed! Music has been the issue for Colts all year! Color guard and visual has been very strong compared to the others scoring around them.

    They were at two different shows on July 3rd. Last night was the first night when they were together that they actually beat Troopers head to head. But, I do agree it's going to be a wild finish!

    Granted, I'm just a little bit biased but I really think that out of this group, the Colts have been the only one that has just steadily increased over the last few weeks. If you look back at scoring, there has not been an up one night, down the next like the others. They are just point by point, increasing each night which is a great sign (at least for those of us hoping the Colts can pull this out). The staff appears to be listening to the judges, taking in what they are being told, and making changes everyday and it has not hurt them by not seeming prepared for each night's performance. Their staff really seems to pull it out of these kids near the end just coming up a little short last year. I'm hoping that since they caught Troopers earlier than last year, that it will help to guide them towards that elusive top 12 spot. Who knows, maybe we can have a 3-way tie for 12th! :)

    Plus they are with Crossmen which is who they have to catch right now so we will see if they can make up some ground heading into Indy week.

    They did manage to skip showing the vocalist while she was having her mic issues.

    Most corps do at this time of year. Now all the corps have to perform them like they've been performing them since the beginning. Hopefully changes don't set a corps backwards.

    Love the Scouts but I agree with everything you've said about them. I keep waiting for them to be cleaner and it's not happening. Hasn't affected their scores YET!

    I noticed many holes as well. Hopefully those aren't from injuries that will keep kids out for a long period of time.

    Was it just the broadcast, or just coming on after Bluecoats, but Blue Knights really seemed to be missing something tonight. Almost like they seemed tired.

    Well then you've just made my point! If Colts, Troopers, or Academy get in, then we've got a very strong activity! In my OPINION, the Colts have the strongest of those 3.

    What's wrong with showing bias? I've been a marching member of a top 12 corps and have spent 30 years of my life watching the activity and I like what I see from them.

    We will never agree that they aren't cleaner and if you watch the drills between those 3 corps, the Colts is much more demanding and fast paced.

    You never know what kind of changes will take place in the last couple of weeks that will make a difference. I just think it's good for the activity to not have the same top 12 year after year and the Colts show is gaining steam and is cleaner than anyone around them right now.
