I have to preface this response with an admission that I've never marched at this level. But I've been watching this stuff for 30 years. My take is several fold: 1) This is the best overall season for design, talent and execution that I've ever seen... by far 2) The creative content is varying in more divergent ways than I've ever seen before, which creates difficulty in making apples to apples comparisons 3) The top 4 shows right now are all amazing pieces of performing art - all exceptional in their own right regardless of the scoring 4) I've always been a Cadets guy - but even so, I think it is safe to say that the show they are fielding is more technically demanding than the other 3 - please understand this does not mean I think it's better - just that I think it is harder to accomplish. They may or may not get there. 5) Due to the physical demands of the Cadet's show content, and the fact that they have added very sophisticated fundamental changes during the season (this show barely resembles what I saw in Foxboro on 7/2) - it is possible that the performers are both physically and metally tapped out 6) For this year, my head wants the Cadets to polish that thing and take it all - but emotionally, I'll still love the Crown experience. In the end - the experience is the thing. And what an experience we've got in '15. Woohoo!

Thanks John. I also started a new topic. But I've got 2 sets of really good seats for Allentown in Section Q (left upper deck) in row 5. Both nights are located just a few feet from each other. They were $35 ea. I won't break the Friday/Saturday sets up. I'll eat the service fee I paid. $10 will get you overnight shipping. PayPal would be the thing. Or we can meet in town when I get there. I'm staying at the Econo Lodge on Bulldog and will be getting in on Thursday night. Let me know! Glen

I'd love to hear what you have to say. I've not seen BK, Cadets, or Crown live since Foxboro. ButI 've been watching the streams mostly high camera. I work in the professional recording industry and have a good, studio-quality audio set up at home. But for the life of me it seems like the audio production varies at every venue. I have to re-balance my system for each stream. So, much of the analysis and opinions expressed are beyond what I can capture. And visually, even on a 50" screen, the visual nuance is lost on my abilities from the high camera view. I'm counting on folks who are there to let us know the finer points we can't perceive. I'll be in Allentown... and I'm expecting a barn-burner! Any of the top could surge. My mind goes out to Cadets for sheer ambition, complexity, and the adrenelin rush - while Crown has captured my heart. Good luck to all!
