Thank you for your input.. I was just asking a honest question since I am new to this message board this year.. Of course I did not think that this entire fourm is going to be raving about Crown..I am also aware that I can choose what I want to read and this is exactly why I only visited the Crown thread.. By doing so, I did however expect to see discussions and opinions discussed in a mature and positive way without rudeness, sarcasm, and bashing..this is why I asked if this is the norm here..so I could decide if this place was for me..I can handle people's opinions and understand that everyone is entitled to theirs.. it is the rudeness, sarcasm, negativity, and bashing that I do not have patience for so this is obviously not the place for me.. I too am super passionate about drum corps but I would never make my self look like a ### by being rude, negative, bashing, or mocking any corps, any drum corps members or staff as I have the upmost respect for ALL who participate.. For the record- I do not think you are a jerk and no offense taken!!☺️ Thanks again for the input..enjoy the rest of the season!!

I am new to this message board this year.. I am a PROUD parent of a current Crown member.. Is this the norm? Adults (assuming) arguing with each other, being rude to each other,making sarcastic comments, and bashing a drum corps show??? I guess I was way off thinking this was a place for members parents and fans to come to support and talk ( maturely ) about the show, performances and such.. I understand everyone has their own opinion but seriously some of the stuff I have read is a bit surprising.. IT IS A DRUM CORPS SHOW.. A performance..Regardless of how you feel about the changes and what not of the show all of those performers make sacrifices and work their tail off for 3 months..

I feel you both!! Drove from SoCal to see this show.. Heading to Denton tomorrow and then flying to Indy for championships.. Since Crown does not come close to the West Coast I decided I could not wait until Championships to see my son (snare) and Crown perform live in person..I've been spoiled the last 2 years since he was marching with a drum corps from CA and they do the "California tour" and seeing every show with RCC for the indoor percussion season I was going nuts not being able to see a show in person.. ☺️☺️

I was at the show but did not write down the scores.. I only remember that BD got a 85.9 something and Crown got a 85.4 something.. Sorry but that is all I got!! Scores were announced over 45 mins ago! 😬

Thank you for sharing this! My son texted me last night after the show saying they had won percussion, which of course he was stoked about! So exciting to see the percussion stepping up!! ☺️👍🏻

Thank you so much for sharing this!! My son is in the Snareline.. I will not be seeing the show in person until championships in Indy since they do not come to the West Coast.. It is hard having to wait!! So THANK YOU!!!

The energy was super crazy last night ( I watched it live) but all the shows that I have ever been too (only shows on West Coast, we live in SoCal) have had high energy crowds..I have only been attending shows for 4 years but I have yet to experience a low energy crowd at a show.. I'm going to finals this year so hopefully it will be high energy..

My son (Crown) also texted me and said the crowd had ZERO energy.. How disappointing for all the performers..
