No need. I believe we all understand the culture of the Kilties. -

Were you at the Naperville show in 2012? Because Morgan Larson was thrown off the campus of North Central College for being a convicted felon and didn’t do the show that night. Didn’t you wonder why he was thrown off campus if you were there? -

Did you just find out about Morgan Larson? You did march with him twice. -

Any chance we can get back on point here? I think the most troubling aspect of this article is how easily these people could move from corps-to-corps unfettered. -

Let’s hope for a good scrubbing. No more half measures. -

Were you a member or on staff when Morgan Larson was a member of the Kilties? -

I just looked. All of them except one person was there when Morgan Larson was there. -

I wish all they did was circle the wagons. They threatened people for bringing this to the drum corps community‘s attention. I have the letters and my attorney has them on file to prove it. -

I think he was also an in-line instructor. -

There are still people in positions of authority and board members with the Kilties now who were fine with him being there then. -

“Scott Stewart, then the executive director of the Kilties, in an interview said he has known Larson since he was 10 and decided to let him march because he had served his time and should not be kept from doing “something he loved.” -

It’s kind of strange how I stumbled upon it. Someone had posted a mug shot of a man who was arrested for possession of child pornography on DCP Facebook. He was from Wisconsin and has a tattoo that says Phantom Regiment with a chevron and SUTA. So I googled him to see if I could get some more info to see if he actually marched in PR. Nothing more on him but he just happens to have the same surname as the individual who was the Pioneer volunteer. No relation, btw. This DCP thread popped up in the search.

I didn’t know about it at all. I find it disturbing because my kid was in Cap Sound the year he was named volunteer of the year. They were at show sites with Pioneer several times. Seems to me there should have been some kind of discussion with parents after the fact. This man had access to children going back to when I marched in 1976 until 2005 when my kid marched. Wrap your head around that for a minute.
