I’m in agreement with you mostly. The point I was trying to make is not that Genesis has a really great visual package, but that writing drill for an abstract theme without props is tough, and it is not given enough credit by judges.

Completely different situations. Madison Scouts are embracing pretty much all modern trends, and it’s Not helping them. Genesis is resisting a few key modern trends, which is what is hurting them(of course there are other reasons they’re not scoring THAT well).

Great job Genesis, it’s better every week! Also, I Love seeing a show without props, Unfortunately though, I think it’s affecting their visual scores. Props have become quite a crutch for drill writers.

I take it as a Bluecoats-style straight-forward show about a visual idea: circles spinning.

Huge improvements from Cascades since last week. Should be comfortably ahead of Surf tonight I think.

I love Pio and this is my favorite show from them in awhile.
