  1. Yep. I enjoy his designs but I do hope it steps it up a notch next year. He is a Blue Devil Alumni. jmo
  2. Yeah thar was a rude comment. I really hope Crown pulls it off and takes it all this year to shut them up. I think the fabric is cool. I believe Crowns intention is to not carry alot props. And feel that is what DCI is becoming. All about Props and I just don't understand. Fabric has been used in alot of past Drum Corps shows but this is different. Sacktig also talks about the decision to use the fabric and what it symbolizes. Anyway if Crown does decide to go the route of doing fancy Props they'll just be doing what everyone does, having the need to have Props. I personally like marching rather than scattering the field with Props.
  3. Right. Cavies have so much vocal stuff that didn't make sense. Sound like they threw it in there.
  4. I lowkey want Bostons Christmas trees for the front lawn Christmas decorations. lol
  5. Yep. There are years that are better than others. I personally like the 90s DCI Era eventhough I didn't learn about DCI until 2000.
  6. Yes, Blue Stars !!!!! I'm feeling emotion in the hornline.
  7. I love 2005 SCV as well. Wished it placed higher, but that show looked hard to clean. Still love it. It's a favorite of mines as well.
  8. So I'm watching the Cadets on Flo and I think the one of their tenors March Crown for 2021. Black tall guy with glasses. I could be wrong. He does look familiar.
  9. I first saw Crown in 2005 it didn't catch my attention. Cadets had my attention though I knew they were going to win. They had a totally different sound from the previous year. Anyway I heard Crown 2005 on CD and was like I don't remember this angelic goodness. lol.
  10. It wasn't. It was early 2000s when they were just getting started. It was all BD, Cavies, Cadets, SCV for me during those years. Now, in 2007 some friends and I went to watch Crown practice and the hornline about gave me a heart attack. They were already loud but then they did this brass hit; Literally took my breath away, didn't know they could get any louder. lol.
  11. I agree. Idk..Crown Is corps now. And u going to Hype them up. I remember Crown came to my hometown and didn't care to go to the show, why... bc the BD was not at the show.. lol. Anyway that was back in my teenage years... Go Crown!!! Letsgetit!!!
  12. Oh really. Wow. I thought it was two separate incidents.
  13. Well dang. I knew it was an off night. I felt it. But we gone be alright. The horn said " Right Over Here, Right Now"
  14. Yeah the percussion staff needs to sit down real quick for a minute. The intro to part 5 with the drummer and trumpet seems watered down from the preview. I thought the orginal intro with the funky beats overlaping the drummer was BA. Its now missing and that section just lingers and doesn't transition well into the brass when they come in. I hope they put it back in and not just throw something randomly in. They have plenty of time to get it right and clean. They can do it. Go Crown.
  15. Yeah that drill is hard. Did they look a bit tired tonight? I thought they did.
  16. Congrats Crown! Feel like we have more work to do. I do feel like tonight was a ok run. Also the percussion need to step it up in all areas. The closer Intro use to be hott but idk what happened.
