The bluecoats uniforms are so camp LOL they really don’t care 😅. After finally seeing everyone, I think we found our champion tonight. That really was unlike anything I’ve seen before. They really are in a tier by themselves. I’ve missed nights like tonight!

My prediction for tonight: 1. Bluecoats 2. Boston Crusaders 3. Cavaliers 4. Blue Stars 5. Phantom Regiment 6. Crossmen

I cannot wait to see what this corps has to fully offer. When Gino left cadets for Boston l immediately heard it in their hornline and it made me a bit sad. Same thing here. But I can’t be sad that phantom sounds this good! I’m so excited for them, and I know they feel really confident about their show. I think that will bode well for them. All love for Phantom this year!

Also as far as the app goes, if you don’t want to use it… don’t. It’s not that big of a deal. I’m losing my mind reading people freaking out over something they can just not participate in LOL It seems a little gimmicky but hey, that’s show biz baby!

I REALLY enjoy this blue devils show. I feel every year they have a gimmick that I can’t get over whether it be a really random but heavily present voice over, a random pop song that feels shoved in for a drum break or choreo section, stuff like that. I don’t feel that at all with this show. It feels like a, sorry for saying, less pretentious approach. All the while they still maintain their BD heritage and format. Love all of the musical selections especially the piccolo trumpet soloist she’s fabulous! This is the show to beat this year, sorry ya’ll. Only criticism I have is I just sorta want MORE. obviously I will get just that so my critique is moot.

Really enjoying what I’m seeing so far from crown. I was worried I wasn’t going to enjoy the rep repeats this year, but they have managed to keep it interesting. The uniforms remind me of some Star Wars fashion haha.
