  1. Yes. There were rumors before the performance that I might have a "malfunction", so they put in the delay. What you can't see in that picture, however, is that I'm not wearing any pants. lol ...and Dan, that's PHAT, not fat. :)
  2. I caught myself looking at myself on the jumbo-tron during the performance. :) There is a delay. Can't wait for WS!
  3. Thanks! The lyrics for this section are going in very soon. Thanks for the DM compliments as well. It helps when you're a huge fan of the drum corps you're in front of. It's truly an honor to conduct this group of people.
  4. Who are you? You don't have a signature and your name isn't listed in your profile. Back to the purpose of the thread, I think it comes down to the individual. I can't tell someone they should stay with one corps just like someone can't tell me that I've missed out on anything because I haven't sampled several corps. Bush is all that I know, and I don't regret it at all. What I look for in a drum corps I have found.
  5. The Bushwackers Drum & Bugle Corps of New Jersey is looking to fill a few remaining brass openings. We are looking to build upon our 3rd place finish in the brass caption in 2002, and are well on our way to bigger and better than we've ever been. Come make a difference and be a part of the resurgence of one of DCA's most successful and innovative drum corps. We are currently accepting applicants for all sections of the horn line. If you would like more information about the corps, rehearsal dates, etc, please fill out our form at www.bushwackers.org/member/form.html or email me directly at membership@bushwackers.org These spots won't last long. Want to do something different with your summer? Want to march a program you'll be proud to say you were a part of? We're shooting for the stars this year, so jump on board...we might just be the corps you've been looking for.

  10. I didn't think I'd like the Alanis song, but it's really awesome. Great show...bravo to those involved.

  13. I was (am) a saxophone player...marched trumpet my freshman year in high school, and mellophone for 3 years in college. I marched baritone and soprano at Bush. I can't say I like brass more than woodwinds or vice versa...but I HATE woodwinds outside. It's a dumb idea.
  14. 1998...mad licks all over the place. Definitely 1998
  15. So no one knows of any pictures anywhere online?
  16. Cadets ballad 1998 Star 93...throughout SCV 99...in S. Barber's symphony #1...there were all sorts of trills and stuff that were watered by finals...but it was awesome originally BUSH - 2001...all over the place, 2002 all over the place...including the on the field warm up
  17. I feel 90 Star of Indiana was better than 91. Blue Devils 91 line was simply amazing !! ~G~ I like 1990 Star's show better...but 1991's hornline was ridiculous good...although in 1993 they were absolutely amazing. In my opinion, they definied what playing at piano means. 1989 Phantom Regiment was amazing. There were chords in that show where you couldn't tell where the sopranos ended and the contras began...it was just glorious sound. Very well balanced. 1993 was okay, but not as well balanced, in my opinion. 1996 was just plain awesome. Very clean, very precise...but that hang over at the end...why God, why!?! I still find it amazing how people don't generally talk about the PR 2000 program and hornline. Good stuff. Very underrated.
