This newer type of drum corps performances are always going to be either accepted or not. What I don't personally enjoy is that the drill has become almost completely missing and it has become a copycat presentation. I just don't see a place for members running around with a suitcase or riding a bicycle. No talent needed to do that and it doesn't stoke my sensors of enjoyment. Some of it is just plain dumb. Musical execution will always seem to be what I enjoy most. Also another copy cat situation is snare rim shots. OK, OK we all know that every snare drummer can do it. Now its time to retire that stroke. The percussion needs to compliment the brass, not overtake section of the show that doesn't match the flow of the music. An example is when percussion enters into a swing beat. More flow instead of small forced percussion solo performances. I marched many rooms ago when we were regimented statues. I do enjoy all of the movement and some creative dance, but tis just too overwhelming at times. Thoughts?

Troopers into finals...if that guard was only somewhat better, they could have been a force. So many lost opportunities because of the guard missing assignments.

I think it great that we are all connecting with one another. DC people are some of the best. But...instead of complaining to each other who do we contact to change this. DCI maybe? Who and how do we get in touch with a DCI representative? After all I can't imagine DCI wanting this low of a professional product associated with them especially on the 50th anniversary.

I am going to make a guess and state that this whole process is being done on a shoestring budget. No production company would distribute a product such as this. It sort of like when you buy a product from overseas and the instruction manual was translated into English by someone that didn't understand the English language and everything is a little disjointed. Its like they setup a camera, then leave to go smoke some weed in the parking lot. Like the activities of high school kids. Dysfunctional high school kids, not the types we love watch in DC. 🥁🎺

Well you know I thought "on demand", which is one of the things that they are marketing, is actually "on demand" not sort of but maybe not "on demand". ☠️

The management of show replays is horrible. Mostly no sound, text that states LIVE and when you click on that...nothing but This event has not started yet! Total BS. Very disappointing from DCI.
