  1. 1995 Acadamie was off the charts good! Can you imagine a corps with less than 60 members placing that high in world class today?
  2. A lot of memories in that building and I didn't even march Glassmen. When I marched Blue Stars we housed there on many occasions....ghosts....showers that were pretty much a trickle of water.....dirt fields....but also it was a really fun place to spend a few days!
  3. In 94 and 95 their were 54 Div 2/3 corps at DCI championships. If you count the corps that did not go to finals it was pretty high. Probably not 100 but could be close.
  4. 100% agree. The safety and health guidelines in place today would have prevented most if not all of the open class corps from the nineties from being on road today.
  5. In the early and mid nineties what is now called open class had over 100 corps competing.
  6. Spartans and Gold have both taken a huge leap this year in the length of time on the road. Both have more shows than several world class corps. They are also both consistent world class semi-finalists. Battalion and Guardians have yet to show that they can financially handle a full tour.
  7. I noticed that Spartans and Gold both have a full tour that has more shows than a few world class corps. Makes me wonder if they are testing the waters for a move up soon.
