I think that Spirits are the best and then Phantoms following close behind.

I don't know about a song but it might be good to memorize them either way.

I would say Phantom or Blue Devils.

I'd say Dynasty because that 's what the Bandettes use and I like it.

I agree about the liking low brass thing. It's cool to hear a good low brass line especially if you play in one.

I just wanted to know what size hornlines Div. II/III corps would be competing against. The Bandettes have: 4 sopranos 2 mellophones 3 baritones 1 contra That might not seem like a lot but we have good sound for a hornline of 10. And maybe 1-2 more before the season.

The first horn I learned on was a trumpet. I switched to baritone because the mouthpiece was a little too small.

Yeah, but some are from other countries and some couldn't make it. So they probably have like 60. I could ask one of the partime instructors for the Bandettes because I tink he works with the Pioneer.

I agree with what she said!!!! Also I think if in Div. III the Bandettes are off to a really great start. They are going to be really good this year I just feel it.

I can't decide between Blue Devils,Phantom Regiment,or Spirit. I like Blue Devils horns period,Phantoms baritones,and Spirits contras. I just can't really decide but I thought it would be cool to see what other people like.

I think one of them is a little smaller. I htink one of the Bandette mellos uses a cornet mothpiece but has to tape it in. So I think a trumpet mouthpice is a little bigger than a mello and a little more bigger than a cornet. But thats just what I overheard ans I'm not a mello player.

Wow!!! If you were playing since you were 8 I'd say you've mastered almost all there is to know about F.horn.

I just put in corps that I tought people would think because polls similar leave out some I thought should be in. But what can you do.

I think the Pioneer's hornline will. I heard they have alot of horns and I just have a feeling they'll do good.

Yeah, they should. but maybe they have a website for horns that's not called hornline parking lot. But being a horn I think it would be coo lto have a website for horn players. Maybe there 's a website for horns that's not called hornline parking lot.

You could buy a mouthpiece brush to fit your mouthpiece or you could soak it in some water mixed oxiclean ( I'm pretty sure it's oxiclean or something with an o)

I really liked Phantom Regiment's colorguard uniforms. The were awesome.

I know the brass should get free things just like the drums. It's not right to always give things to them. Maybe they should switch off giving free things to the horns and drums.

I'd say french horn or mellophone.

I would go with trumpet or baritone. I played trumpet and switched to baritone because the mouthpiece was too small and pinched my lips. Yeah it's like 15 pounds but mellophone 's mouthpiece is also too small for me. And I'm still trying to get used to the weight so I lift weights.
