LOL...of course. Just another nail in the DCI coffin. I really wanted this to work all summer...the income it would have gave DCI down the road would have been incredible.

I restarted and mine works. Good sound and video. Try restarting maybe.

It was working great about ten minutes ago...video and sound were outstanding quality...I have a feeling it will come back soon.

Sound quality seems outstanding on the DII/III stream today...I guess time will tell.

Yeah...that wasn't an option this summer. The only option was the $89 full year option (exp: 30 April 2008).

Not to get off topic...but you really need to keep us updated on everything this week on that thing since DCI.org will go down I'm sure.

Definitely...like the good old days of Star 93. Thanks for reminding me of that show...chicks with sticks. That show was too genius and the majority of the drum corps world hated it too. Nothing was shoved down anyones throat in that show.

I find it amusing that people say that they cannot hear the Cadets hornline because of all the narration. If you really listen and watch the show...the narration is so perfectly placed that it is during downtimes in the music. It seems the score was written and the narration was just another musical line in the score. IMO its the best and most efficient placement of narration ever used. The Bluecoats' "You have the right to remain silent..." phrase is used in the same way...to fit the musical score. The reason why there isn't an uproar is because it's not used as often. But IMO they are used in the same way...effectively.

But doesn't DCI have to acknowledge there is a problem first...it doesn't seem that they have or will at this rate.

I think we are all worried...especially after Saturday night. The first show in Annapolis was ok...there were issues but they were resolved. After that is was mostly sporadic problems...that for the most part...not always...were resolved by online tech support. Saturday was a disaster...the show was pretty much unwatchable. So yes...I'm worried. I'm also worried about this: dci.org in general. Every Saturday when there has been a webcast the dci.org site in general has gone down at one point...sometimes for a hour at a time. This is a problem...a huge one that won't be resolved. This usually occurs at the end of the evening near the time when scores are announced and the site crashes from overload. Then many people have trouble logging back on to the webcast and they miss the scores and or encore. This to me is a problem...DCI cannot handle the amount of hits that it gets during these peak times. I will be stocked with beer as well.

I was there last year...there were two theaters going. I arrived about a hour after it began and struggled to find a seat. My advice is go early.
