We are very happy to have both Paul and and Mark join the Caballeros for the 2017 campaign. From Alan Katz: “The Hawthorne Caballeros would like to thank Marc Garside for his more than 5 years as percussion caption head and arranger with the corps. The master recruiter, his get it done attitude, and dedication to the corps will never be forgotten. We are very grateful for all the work he has done, the thousands of miles he has logged each weekend, and the sleepless nights he has put in all of these years. We wish Marc, his wife, Laura, and Epic Percussion nothing but the best of luck with their future endeavors.” Interested in marching? 2. Hey Tekneek, The problem has been fixed and our web host is taking a deeper dive as to how this occurred. Thank you again for the heads up!
  3. Well, all I can say is that this past weekend in Hawthorne was fantastic! I look forward seeing everyone again at the December camp. Buffy, it great catching up with you, even if it was only for a short while! Jack, after 12 seasons of drum corps, I feel old even though I haven't reached 30 years of age, lol! See you at the next rehearsal.

  16. It should be, but you would deserve half of that... and Gary doesn't count!
  17. I'll give it a shot too... Note all years are with the Cabs. 1999: 5th 2000: 2nd 2001: 3rd 2002: 6th 2003: 1st 2004: 4th 2006: 4th 2009: 5th 2010: 5th Average Placement: 3.8
  18. Been with the Hawthorne Caballeros for the entire run of my drum corps life. I had an opportunity to switch to juniors in 2002, but I chose to stay with my family and friends. Plus, my decision allowed me to finish college and build a solid foundation in the career I've been in for over 8 years now. All in all, for me personally, it was the best decision.
