  1. I already know I'm not going to be able to go to finals this year and I just got my tickets. Anyone have any suggestions about selling them. I don't want to make a proffit but I would like to get what I paid for them. Is selling them on DCP a no-no? I would do them over eBay but I don't know how long I should wait till I offer them up.
  2. I don't know if this is okay to post a search for someone missing in action but I'm looking for a corps bud I knew years ago. We lived here near Tampa and use to hang out. I lost touch with him after he marched with Phantom in 94. If anyone knows Stave Canton or know how I can get in touch with him, I'd appreciate it. You can send me an email off forum. Thanks!
  3. If you have Apple iTunes, it's in the music store store, download it for $.99! great sounding recording too!
  4. I'm sorry but I can't stand the name Glassmen. I know I'm gonna get burned for this but the name itself resonates those being fragile and breakable. Names like Phantom Regiment, Crossmen, Santa Clara Vanguard, ect.. sounds like corps you wouldn't mess with.
  5. Pardeeville, WI!!! We (Suncoast) stayed there for Finals in 92 as well! Best Fried Chicked you'll ever have. They have the bass drum head with the 86 corps picture on it hanging up, I think, at the school which was a jr. high and high school all in one. It was a real small town. Nice people though.
  6. We (Suncoast) also took high brass in 92' Div III prelims but fell to 3rd at finals. Suncoast was always known for their brass line!
  7. Not a huge embarrasement but College Park, MD. We had a great opener and right when the second piece starts, the tenor line pulls up their toms (because we didn't play for nearly the entire tune). Well, somehow, to this date I don't know how, my center spock drum (center accent tom) just wiggles out and falls on the field! Sucked because we haven't even gone through most of the show and definitely not the percussion feature and I needed that tom! And there it layed and all I could do was watch it as I got further and further away (we were doing a back step drill at slow tempo!). Reminds me of when Tom watched Wilson float off in Cast Away. I didn't cry as much though!!!! It's not easy fake hitting a tom either!
  8. I have to disagree with you here, have you actually listened to that piece? It's awesome! I was there at finals when they performed it and it was a kick ### piece! So much power and drive, made me want to jump down there with them. I thought it was one of the best closers for 91 (other than Star!). I agre the drill was weak (there was more earlier in the season, taken out to clean up the music I guess!) but the music was awesome!
  9. I saw this show several times in rehearsal as I was on tour as well in 91 and in the beginning there was much movement during PFR ("PFR" funny, that's a name of a band as well) ANyway, I'm guessing, in order to clean up the show they limited the drill. Correct me if I'm wrong but the last 20 seconds, they are just doing the grind where before they were in a drill that was a complete fury! Wish they could have been able to kep it in.
  10. I marched the last year they were Div I and the first year they were Div III, I miss them too. I started to march the 94 season (their last year at finals) but life circumstances got in the way but I miss it. I wish there was a good (emphasis on "good") senior corps around here but it would never be like it was so I think I'll just hold onto those years and not try to re-create them. Just my 2 cents.
  11. Here's my pick: Bridgemen Velvet Knights Suncoast Sound Star of Indiana
  12. 86,88,89 for Suncoast Sound 89 Freelancers were awesome! 88,89,92 VK
