  1. ???????????????? Such a good corps....but....cannot turn my voice teacher ears off. ☹️ posted from the DrumScorps app
  2. Dang! Flying down those ramps at the end! posted from the DrumScorps app
  3. If Madison does not make finals, it isn't that they are struggling or are not fighting for it. Stronger than they have been in recent years for me. I don't dislike the show! I know some seem to hate it. posted from the DrumScorps app
  4. The quality of streaming is so odd. Mine has been excellent every time, but it seems others have an awful time. posted from the DrumScorps app
  5. I have a hard time not seeing Mandarins in finals. That is a different corps! And it will be a great way to start finals! posted from the DrumScorps app
  6. Haha. That ending came out of nowhere. It was even worse. I mean, I'm not a Cavies fan, but they usually give you something flawlessly designed...hmm. Is that really the ending?!?
  7. Ugh...what IS THAT part of the show. It always sounds...eh.
  8. I am still not a fan of this hornline, but at least, last year, I felt VERY entertained. This year, I just cannot get into the show.
  9. I am probably about to be tossed vegetables, but I actually find myself very bored during the Cavies' show. I hope they cleaned up a few hornline things that bothered me in Atlanta. Hmm. I like this opening better.
  10. I actually enjoy this year's version of BD. I still don't buy into the ending.
  11. Daphnis and Chloe is my favorite composition. I used to listen to it almost every day for a while in high school...from start to finish. It was so great to see what is historically my favorite corps playing my favorite composition.
  12. I have to agree that my favorite show might very well be sitting in 6th or 7th. It is a testament to the quality of the corps this year. SCV has a beautiful show this year. The ending catches me off guard, but the rest...really love it.
  13. That...caught me off guard. Aye. Man, the brass technique was all over the map. I don't think they can fix that by August.
  14. Ditto. I am not saying I do not like Boston. Although, I actually think Tarpon's voice overs were better (if you can have a better voice over). I just noted the similarities, the exact same musical composition in places and recycled drill. I do not recall anyone saying that the staff was at Boston first or Tarpon first. Did you start a new thread? We are dealing with the actual show and the material used in it. Oh well. People will read what they want to read. Take care!
  15. I was wondering if anyone else was noticing that. I am surprised no one else mentioned it sooner. However, Boston's staff is pretty much Tarpon Springs'. I notice Bluecoats has some Kiski associated people and a Marion Catholic instructor. I know that many of the top corps and band share some of the same educators, but the same show is pushing it. You know, I was noticing that as well as another corps...can't remember which one that is doing a rip off of Lassiter's 2002 championship show...almost to a tee musically. Oh well. I guess it happens..creative genius at the very best, huh? :P
