They use plenty of electronics, and you do know their top brass players in the grey tops are all mic'd -- for the entire show. Just saying. SCV is NOT old school drum corps in any way. Great job to all corps tonight! The level just continues to improve and these kids are impressive. Everyone seems to be an expert and critic, but they continue to raise the standard despite adversity! Drum corps is healthy and the standard is high! posted from the DrumScorps app

BD, Coats and Phantom use mics on the entire corps. It's ridiculous. Even Crown has them! I don't get it. When people say something about BD even with everyone else, my response is going to start being #fakenews. posted from the DrumScorps app
