Vessel Indoor Percussion would like to announce our Caption Heads for the 2023 season. Joining us again as the Visual Caption Head is Gary Briggs. Back with us again, now as the Battery Caption Head, is Matthew King. And we are happy announce the newest member to our Caption Head team, James Catherall, who will be our Front Ensemble Caption Head. This coming Sunday - August 1st, Bluecoats is performing our first post-pandemic public event: a free concert in Canton's beautiful new Centennial Plaza! Bluecoats will perform in standstill concert at 8:30pm at the end a day-long festival that includes performances by the Canton Symphony Orchestra, the Matt Corey Band (he's a Blast! alum!) and The Scenic Route! A letter just sent to BDB parents that they are also remaining on west coast. Open Class Finals will be missing the top 2 Corps next year.

Will switch to Peckville when it comes on. This is the old Scranton PA regional all Northeast DCA Corps except Fusion Corps. Now without Minn Brass a pretty complete line-up considering Atlanta CV and Gold would have already performed earlier in the day on the DCI stream.

Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps is seeking two musicians, a guitarist and drum set percussionist, for its 2018 production. The guitarist must read music (not just tablature) and be versed in classical acoustic guitar. Prior drum corps or marching band experience is desirable but not required. The percussionist must be able to read music. Experience performing with marching ensembles is preferred. Both individuals must be able to meet the time and financial commitments required for a touring DCI drum corps. Rehearsal and touring schedules are available upon request. Watchmen enters into the 2018 season in their fifth year of competition, and they are stronger than ever. Starting as a brass ensemble in 2013, Watchmen has grown into a full size open class corps and will be touring this year in California, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. This year’s production is entitled “Altered”, where they will test your altered states. The original composition by Harry Hutchins and Paul Rendon comes in four movements and will evoke images of psychological manipulation, covert intelligence, and mind control. Will chaos ensue?
