Tom Brace Posted October 19, 2007 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Nite Express thought they were all that and a bag of chips that season. I taught a corps that season that competed against them. I rode the staff bus with them to quarterfinals. They were convinced that they were going to make top 12 finals after placing 3rd in Division II. When they went up against the Div 1 corps in quarter finals they placed 22nd. Nite Express proved that even in 1996 you needed more than just a strong hornline to score high. I liked their visual program as well, and early in the season they were neck and neck with Pioneer each Nite (all puns).
