Mike_B
I saw the title and thought "wow an in-depth look at the inner works of the Thunderbirds, like "They're an eclectic group of undiscovered artists" or "You never saw a more extreme group of weirdos". We had a great day today. We got to play our show to an appreciative crowd. We usually play Amazing Grace with the bagpipers of like 5 or 6 different groups, but we got rained out at the end. Great day tho.

Great day tho. ...........we hardly got in a warmup dodging cloudbursts...........................however, it didn't rain on our show, .............then torential downpours with thunder and lightning washed out the massed pipe bands and the corps on Amazing Grace,..................our brothers in the Erepa Grotto Pipes and Drums lost their president to cancer on Thursday evening, the massed bands (and corps) was to be dedicated in his honor,.....................the man above shed many tears for all of us...................... the best part of the day was watching the 87th Cleveland pipes and the Erepa Grotto boys in their kilts playing frisbee on the parade grounds in that downpour, some very graceful moves by the men in kilts,.....................a few diving catches had us in stitches b**bs
