Fusion Core Administration Posted October 5, 2007 Share Posted October 5, 2007 (edited) PRESS RELEASE October 4, 2007 Fusion Core Announces 2008 Color Guard Staff Fusion Core is pleased to announce Larry Trimble and Steve Raysor will return as Color Guard Co-Designers/Caption Heads for the 2008 season joined by Kerri Steppe and a new edition, Aaron Palmer. Larry Trimble had been Color Guard Coordinator for the Pennsbury High School Marching Band from 1999-2003. Since 2003, Larry has been the color guard designer for the Souderton Area High School Marching Band and Souderton Forté Indoor color guard and Fusion Core. Larry has also been a member of the 1999 Reading Buccaneers horn line, the 2001 Harrisburg Westshoremen color guard, the 2002 Reading Buccaneers color guard, and the 2003, 2004 New York Skyliners and Fusion Core 2007 as Co-Caption Head/Designer and member. Along with drum corps, Larry has been a member of “THE GUARD” indoor color guard from 2001-2004 and is currently performing with Light Brigade Winter Guard. Stephen Raysor is excited to be returning to Fusion Core as well this season as Co-Caption Head/Designer. In 2003, Stephen worked with Pennsbury High School Marching Band. Steve has been a guard instructor at Souderton Area High School for both their indoor and outdoor programs since December 2003. Steve’s marching experience includes the Reading Buccaneers 2002 color guard, the New York Skyliners 2004 and Co-Caption Head/Designer Fusion Core, 2007 and currently Light Brigade Winter Guard. Kerri Steppe started her color guard experience in 1997 while attending Pocono Mountain High School and continued until she graduated in 2000. She also marched with The Skyliners in 2003, 2004, Fusion Winter guard 2005 and 2006 as well as Instructor/Member of Fusion Core 2007. Kerri has taught Pocono Mountain East high school 2002 – 2004, Huntington High School in 2005, Hicksville High School 2007 and is currently teaching Fusion Winter Guard. Joining Fusion this year as well is Aaron Palmer. Aaron in addition to the current staff brings a wealth of knowledge and guard expertise to the corps. Aaron started his career in color guard with Light Brigade Winterguard 1992 thru 2004, Sunrisers Drum & Bugle Corps 2003, Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps, 2005, Fusion Winter Guard 2005 and Blessed Sacrament 2007. Aaron has taught Riverside High School Marching Band 2003, Emanon Winter Guard 2004 (Visual/Equipment Designer), Riverside High School Indoor Guard 2005 (Visual/Equipment Consultant), Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps 2005 (Guard Instructor), Fusion Winter Guard, 2005 to present (Equipment/Program Designer), Raiders Drum Corps 2007, and Elizabeth High School 2006 to present.
