We were at lunch when she said that and I said, "Americanos!" Her eyes lit up and she asked how I knew about them. Then I rattled of a few corps from the area and she said, "Holy poop!" She actually used the other word. She marched in the guard for a few years 77 to 81 and then she did over 20 years in the Army. So if you were in and remember Lisa, let me know. Former Blue Devils soloist extraordinaire Bonnie Ott was their horn instructor in '80. I visited with Bonnie at a contest the Americanos competed at in St. Paul, MN the night before her brother Jim was tragically killed while he was on tour with Spirit of Atlanta.
