CoHmempho04
In Atlanta last year, someone right behind me yelled out "MARRY ME PHANTOM!!!" sowie bout that B) just kidding It doesn't bother me when I marched or when I'm sitting in the stands. It's kinda nice especially when you hear someone you actually know and you didn't know they were going to be at the show or something of that sort. Our baritone tech in 04 at Memphis use to yell "Git R Done" right before every performance and Jersey Surf found out about it and they screamed "Git R Done' at our prelims show and finals show so that was pretty cool to hear it from a competing corps. Bossman
"Drum major ____ ________ is your corps ready?" "THEY'RE ALWAYS READYYYYYYY!" The most consistent from show to show, and my favorite.
leigh5101
distracting to members. They can lose focus
Tone Quality Matters
I take no exception to pre-show shout outs, but I have a problem with the morons that try to ruin the finals recordings
Bossman
tell me about it... it seems to be really distinctive in older recordings. Any reason???
whitedawn
if i ever find the guys who screamed "GO IAN!" in 2000, i'll have some harsh words for them. what a way to ruin the mood...

Melissa Sampson
I love the shout outs before the show. I just wish every kid in each corps could get one. The only time I don't like the shout outs is when it ruins a nice moment in the show(Go Kriiiissssssssstttttttttaaaaaaaaa Vanguard 2000)
