This is supposed to represent the improvement a corps sees throughout the season. So at specific times in the season the max points allowed for a corps increases. So, basically, the captions we choose at the beginning of the season, as the real scores go up and our max points goes up as well, we would be able to not only change our captions, but choose them from a higher placing corps from the previous year's finals.
