Guard-Dad
Score from Houston from dci.org1 Holy Name Cadets 88.600 2 Carolina Crown 88.050 3 Blue Stars 83.250 4 Phantom Regiment 83.050 5 Boston Crusaders 82.750 6 Glassmen 81.200 7 Spirit 75.050 8 Crossmen 74.250 9 Pacific Crest 71.750 10 Mandarins 70.100 Seems as though scores might be leveling off, or even lower, judges leaving room to score higher the rest of the weekend maybe? Can't wait for Dallas scores

Gray3
10 Mandarins 70.10 9 Pacific Crest 71.75 7 Spirit 75.05 8 Crossmen 74.25 6 Glassmen 81.20 5 Boston Crusaders 82.75 3 Blue Stars 83.25 2 Carolina Crown 88.05 1 Holy Name Cadets 88.60 4 Phantom Regiment 83.05 I saw Spirit, Glassmen, BAC, HNC & PR this past Monday - HNC hornline is pretty good. Not much range dynamically, but they can play loud. The arrangements work for them and the ending should bring the house down at Finals. I like Spirit. I thin kthey have a decent corps that might be getting slotted a bit. They sound pretty good up close and personal and can blow the house down with Seet Georgia Brown - still. Their "Live,, In COncert" show is done fairly well (I could do without the synthesizer) but the drill still needs to be ramped up to give the kids a chance to move up. PR - oh my... The visual is not done very well this year. Not much going on that would make someone think anything other than *I think I saw PR do this in the 90's.* Sounds good (if you like to hear toungues hanging out of the baritone's bell) but the visual design needs major improvement.
