NWguardparent
Interesting about NxNW registering as a member. They certainly don't have any audition information on WGI or on their website.
NWguardparent
Update: It now appears that due to staffing changes at Scouts Fluer De Lis won't be coming out. However, their website oddly enough directs you to the NxNW winterguard auditions and page. I find that a bit strange for the Scouts organization to do but cest la vie. The NxNW website has audition info up, but still doesn't have anything other than a membership listing at wgi.org.
SPINCYCLE
FYI..... Northeast is holding their auditions in the Orlando area, which is 1 1/2 hours away from where we are based, due to the fact we have a free facility to use. Facility costs are the main portion of our budget, over $10,000 last season, so this is the most sensible solution. We've also recently lost a major source of funding for our program this season, so in an attempt to keep our member's dues low, we've decided to utilize facilities in which we don't have to pay. This is the absolute only reason for having our auditions in Orlando, which is centrally located. Please understand this is in no way a 'slimy' action on our account... that's not our style. Thanks, Robby Dont have to Pay? WOW good for you. Thats such a burden for many independent guards. Good Luck....Someone needs to thank that Board of Ed for such great support to the activity. Maybe other boards will follow .

Good Luck....Someone needs to thank that Board of Ed for such great support to the activity. Maybe other boards will follow . That would be nice! We've been offered spots here and there to rehearse in for a day or a weekend, but nothing consistent at this point, so we still have our main rehearsal facility that we pay to use. Other than Dayton, rehearsal space is the largest part of our budget. Congrats to NEI for being able to overcome this issue!
