I will start: Saw a guy with an Old Bridgemen corps jacket - sweet. Saw the best Troopers I have seen in a LONG time. Saw some people I only see at finals. I have some pins that go back to 1970 packed away somewhere--all I have available now is my Blue Stars Alumni pin and my Vanguard tee-shirt (that would be the "original" DP Vanguard) wish I could find an old Royal Airs jacket---that would just slay!! Jami Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Madison starting the show with a percussion instrument i've never seen before. What was that piece of metal in the pit? A strong 14-12 block. Glassmen having one of my favorite shows from them in years and hopping BK in the process! Boston's hornline making me silent in a good way. Blue Stars having one of the best overall packages of the evening. Phantom's pit - so lush, so musical. Bluecoats pit having so much technical proficiency. SCV making me want to buy the DVDs - or at the very least, an APD. phenomenal. Cadets having my favorite pit of the evening. Cavies continuing to push the envelope visually. Plus seeing Alex on the podium and remembering when he was 15 and 16 playing a marimba with me in 2003/2004. What a talent he is. Crown just doing what they do so well.
