For the same reason that Phantom beat BD in 08... raw emotion.

By that logic, VK 1992, Phantom 89, Scouts 95...to name a few...all should have won/placed higher.

I was in the show, and i agree... I'd go with 2000 bd. I think the majority of dcp is always gonna be under 16ish to 22ish age group which means a lot of people havent seen shows past the last few years. Probably skews results just a tad.

I guess... but it is interesting that even when the fans voted, SCV 89 was selected with the highest votes in the first DCI cinema event.
