NYSkyliner
Did anyone do an "official" horn count? If I recall it topped out at about 60 last year.I was told we had 8 ranks of 7 and 1 rank of 8 for a total of 64 VERY LOUD brass. 7 lead sopranos and 7 contrabass, 26 in percussion including 15 or 16 snare and 20 something in the guard not including the Honor Guard. Dmlkmen
"Loudest Chord In The World" - Middle Horn Section, pre-parade warm-up Thats a great shot. Thanks for sharing. I was on the right with the Baritones. 17 of us from my count. This reminded me of the warm up arc n Dublin last year, at Loudest Show on Earth. I think we had 100 plus horns in that one. Sans skyscrapers, but with a dude on a bike who had some great remarks and wheelie for us. Hope we can do this again this summer- Gades, Statesmen, Dream, and Freelancers Alums altogether for another warm up arc. Will there be any paint left on the houses across the street? mchromik
I thought we had seventeen in the Midvoice-line. Could be wrong. Plenty loud. Great group, awesome time. Thanks Renegades. Let's do it again next year.
