Just left...on my way home...bdb not as good as yesterday (still should win), scvc improved today...should close the margin a bit...Gold was LOUD...VK was fun and zany...Impulse really improved! (not the best show of the night but the one I enjoyed the most)...especially the drumline. And of course bdc was adorable.

Cali

My last live show of the season :-(

Wish I could have been there. Heat and scheduling got in the way.

Yup...hello Mr "wake-up call". This one ought to get BDB's attention.

You could just see it on the field. BDB did not have its usual 'swagger' this afternoon.

The lines and drill were much more crisp yesterday in Fremont. There was also a lot more energy yesterday.

On the other hand, SCVC performed the heck out of their show today. To their credit, they were

regal and accessible and "on" today. A very well balanced show.

Cali.

Yeah, I'll buy that ... BDB's drum line seemed a bit sloppy tonight as well.

Use of electronics by SCVC really kind of annoying me ... The use of recorded voice combined with the narration is just soooo BoA.

Yeah no judges on the field, all in the stands so lines and inbalance was what got judged. Props to Cadets - BDB takes tomorrow off, 2 days of practice and then on the road to SoCal for two shows. Final two shows before heading East.

Cali, great call. BDB dropped 7 tenths in vis tonight. SCVC was very strong. But, I really liked VK's show. In fact, I sat by an non-drum corp person, and she thought that the humor in the VK show was the highlight of the night. Have to agree with her, the show was very entertaining. I liked the cascade show again, got to see it from a little higher.
