iallansopranoswife
The SELDEN CADETS ALUMNI(SCGL) want to thank the BHOF and The REILLY RAIDERS for a show well done. We apppreciate the warm reception for us and are anticipating the upcoming show in Boston two weeks from now. All the participants did a fine job of bringing "old school" drum corps back. We will be rolling out our newest number in Boston....see you there! Irene PS Back in "the day" SELDEN CADETS competed against the BRACKEN CAVALIERS and THE VAGABONDS. Last year was a real gas having St. Kevin's, Boston Crusaders Sr., the Defenders, the Brassmen and Selden all on the same card ... I believe many of the same will be there this year as well ... hmmm ... wonder if that Contra Dude from Pembroke Imperials will be there ... I think he got High Uniform last year!!!! :-) Edited March 7, 2011 by ajlisko

iallansopranoswife
The SELDEN CADETS ALUMNI had a fantastic time at the Bugler's Hall of Fame show in Philly this Saturday....The corps put on a fantastic show. From the first note of "South Rampart Street" to the beautiful job that they did with "Music of the Night" and "Don't Cry For Me Argentina". "The Lord's Prayer" and the great new rendition of the old classic "Mack The Knife" which brought down the house....it was a great day for the corps. The standing ovation and the warm reception from the great REILLY RAIDERS made the day one to remember for all of us. Thank you to the BHOF for another fun day. See you all in Boston two weeks from now where we will roll out the latest addition to our repitoire. .
