weirdscience
If a corps was going to do an all-The Mars Volta show, who would it be? My vote would be for the Cavies because of the Green Machine's ability to create visual kaleidoscopes. I think TMV's prog rock sound would translate insanely well to the field. Whad'ya think? Dir_en_X
I'd love to see Son et Lumiere/Intertiatic ESP on the field.
weirdscience
Yeah, I could see "Son" as a sick intro.
Chris Rohn
By corps tradition alone I think we'd see Teal Sound try it before anyone else.
HollywoodNeoCon
NO WAY!!!!!!! TMV is terrific, but I must insist that Maynard and TOOL get first crack at a show!!!! We now return to our previously-scheduled thread, and beg your forgiveness...
Michael Boo
Any corps that did The Mars Volta on the field would HAVE to play as done on Late Night With David Letterman, with the entire horn line playing the saxophone riff at the end. And we need a vocalist screaming the lyrics, "Bring me the tame—Witness germinates in the child—That word of mouth stutters—Blink at the lonely dice."I'm thinking the guard should be dressed as below. You are WAAAAAAYYYYY too old to know Mars Volta music, Boo-man.... But since you're a buckle-holder and Keeper of the Splooie Secret, mega-kudos and some raisin pie for knowing it all the same. I play music by The Mars Volta when I want to calm down and lower my breathing rate. Edited April 20, 2011 by Michael Boo

Or seniors dinner at the Golden Skilllet, which ever is more age-appropriate for you. Edited April 20, 2011 by HollywoodNeoCon

That's why I watched "Meet the Press" when I was 10 and Lady Gaga videos when I turned 55.
