What can a aged-out drummer do in the winter?

Recommended Posts

yes, Sayre, still s(t)uck in Belgium

I do like the idea of Alumni corps, but I wish there were more challenges for a guy like me. I mean in the competitive circuit.

I guess I'll have to wait til I can reorient job-wise and be able to spend another summer in the U.S. In the meantime I'm teaching, but it's hard to scream in the desert that is Belgium.

Maybe you could hook up with Kidsgrove Scouts and come over for DCA next year.

For Toronto area age out drummers who want to stay competitive, I would suggest checking out CADRE. We practice at the Legion on Lakeshore (Toronto Rowing club, Boulevard Club area) every Tuesday night from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Just drop in. Or, you can go to our website cadre-online.ca for more info. We're serious about our drumming, not just goofing around. You can also pm me.

Regards,

John

That's actually not too bad of an idea. It's a long haul, I'm sure - but longer ones have been done before.
