Ron H Posted December 21, 2011 Share Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) Now that the two major circuits will have an overlap, (DCI and DCA) what do you think about how the "sound" of the brass sections will carry the day? Do you think the new Cadets2 will be on a par with, say this year's champs, Minnesota Brass, Inc.? Or will they need a few years to "play the game?" Stradivarius Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 I was, at first, worried that they were going to be incredible and get a lot of the horn players who age out of the actual Cadets. But, turns out, they like 15-20 horns show up to the first couple of camps. PS: take this with a grain of salt, just something I picked up from a friend during a camp with the Empire Statesmen.
