hairbear
After two weeks of interesting weather patterns that featured first, a tornado along with baseball sized hail, then a few days later: snow, Cincinnati Tradition enjoyed a weekend of spring weather with a temperature of 75 degrees! This was the corps first rehearsal weekend, outdoors. Show coordinator Larry Tinnerman reports that the corps is on scedule with the 2012 show music. There are just two openings remaining in the horn line. (one soprano and one baritone) Thanks to a great team of volunteers, the corps will be wearing new uniforms for 2012. C.T. wishes to thank the Steel City Ambassadors for their assistance and generosity in providing them with new headgear, at an affordable price! Thanks also to the Racine Kilties, who gave the corps a good deal on three mallet instruments. Further development of the front ensemble is ongoing, with the purchase of three marimbas and two vibraphones, from the Atlanta Corvets. A big thank you to David Stollberg for his assistance! The support staff of the corps (newly augumented), features a cook staff, an R.N. and new for 2012, on site child care during rehearsals! The drumline and front ensemble are both full at this time. The colorguard would like to have two more members. Interested parties should visit the corps website as quickly as possible, to secure one of the few remaining spots. Cincinnati Tradition looks forward to an exciting season of growth, as they prepare for the DCA championship weekend in Maryland.
