LegendOfJ
Here's what I'm thinking. Through a smartphone app... - Check the full DCI schedule sorted by date, distance, performing corps, etc. Buy tickets through your phone - Look up scores from previous shows. Scores are updated by fans (like GasBuddy) or, alternatively, officially through DCI. Get notifications/alerts for scores as soon as they happen. Fans can comment on scores or performances, and upload pics/videos of that night's lot warmups/other media. - Optional DONATE button for a corps of your choice. Send gas money to your favorite corps of the night after a show. - Corps can also post up their entire tour itinerary for fans, friends and parents. You can see where Phantom Regiment is practicing so you can catch a practice, or volunteer for a day. - GPS capability. Here's where it gets interesting. Corps can register an official account. When they arrive at a show site, corps staff can broadcast their position on GPS. Want to know where BD's drumline is warming up? Look it up on Google Maps. Which way to see Crown's color guard? Get directions instantly.
chaos001
I agree. Regiment has a pretty good app on iTunes. Definitely worth the $2.99.
